"With her playfully poetic and atmospheric Anita Bertolamiobject manipulation Anita Bertolami was able to convince the jury. With plenty of humour and charm, as well as an awareness for detail, she knew just how to capture the attention and imagination of the audience. She used a surreal medley of characters made from whisks, brushes and other everyday objects, choreographed precisely to music and performed upon her small stage.  In one of her newest pieces this multitalented artist amazed the audience by playing not just with her hands, but also with her feet."

"It is rare to see so many laughing faces in one place in Ludwigshafen; interval applause, giggling, and smiles – these were the reactions of the passerby’s during the street theatre festival yesterday. “It really is unbelievable,” cried one astonished lady as Anita Bertolami brought her miniature world to life.
The artist is hidden inside her black box with only her fingers showing, but you are sure you can see the mimic on the tiny wooden heads that balance on tightropes, argue with another and sweep the floor to music. The fascinated audience of both children and adults alike, cheered and applauded."
