Modo's CarnivalModo

Modo, rejected by his own family for being “odd” lands upon the shores of a realm were he is not only normal, but far less out of place than some of the inhabitants.

Everything around him takes on a magical life, from the spider hunting for the ingredients of a potion, to the secretive brushes trying to avoid being eaten by a one-eyed tyrant.

However, even in the most troubled times love can survive, and, despite his ugliness, Modo has hopes of meeting the dancing girl who plays in the underground club every weekend. But she’s already spoken for and has little time for yet another admirer…
Loosely based upon “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame” by Victor Hugo, the story is both charming and dark, beautiful and surreal.

It invites the audience to gasp with wonder and occasionally with horror, at a world that they never knew existed right around them.
